What we are looking for

We are growing and are looking for a Professional Services Engineer/Technician (m/w/d) for our location in Bruchsal (fully remote possible). In this role you will provide best in class support to our partners and customers worldwide. As a member of the Technical Services team, you will work in collaboration with the Global Services and R&D teams to provide best in class software application services and support for Hexagon’s Video Management Software and Enterprise Products.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for the delivery of projects both internally towards all project participants such as product management, development, and service as well as our partners and integrators
  • Development of system solutions based on the requirements of the partners or end customers and their presentation to the customer
  • Commissioning of video management systems, video analysis algorithms and interfaces to external systems such as superordinated management systems, other security technology systems and ERP systems
  • Monitoring and adherence to project budgets
  • Support of internal departments including Sales, Marketing, R&D etc.
  • Conception and execution of technical customer trainings in English and German. Other languages a plus

Education / Qualifications

  • Education degree or certification in an IT related field, Engineering degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in project and customer management
  • Professional experience in implementation of security systems like CCTV, Access Control or Physical Security Management Systems highly desirable
  • Proven knowledge of TCP/IP, network technology, operating systems (client/server), hardware (client/server)
  • Preferably experience in Solution Architecture
  • Security and/or Operational projects background in solution-oriented companies preferred
  • Understands the client business and technical environment
  • Enjoys independent thinking and analytical problem solving
  • Proactively identify potential challenges, resolve them, and prevent escalations
  • Fluent language skills in German and English
  • Ability to travel about 25% to client sites in EMEA region mostly in Germany
  • Driver's license and German work permit required
