Responsibilities
Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking a Contract Renewal Associate (Remote- Home Office any city in Canada) to join a high energy, customer service focused and positive Contract Lifecycle Sales team. The Contract Renewal Associate facilitates renewals direct with our Customers; provides support to the sales executives and their client base; and contributes to the attainment of financial and strategic organizational goals. The Contract Renewal Associate will also assist in ensuring our vendor status with Customers is active and accurate to accelerate Hexagon revenues. • This role is a mix of Customer Service and working directly with Customers to renew existing contract agreement.
• Responsible for renewing, up-selling, and closing maintenance, service, and license contracts with a focus on increasing renewal sales
• Preparation of quotations and proposals
• Educates customers on business practices and associated contractual implications
• Ensures customer awareness and understanding of applicable product elements
• Ability and willingness to contribute to small projects, improvements, and efficiencies
• Perform basic information gathering and analysis as directed
• Updating ERP system and Salesforce
• Assist with maintenance of various vendor systems as required
• Facilitate and coordinate across multiple teams to ensure timely execution of actions with an eye for best practices
• Apply outstanding internal and external customer service skills
Education / Qualifications
- Reliable high-speed Internet connection and a dedicated home-office space to work undisturbed throughout the day
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration or similar with of 2+ years' experience in a sales support, customer service or administrative position OR 4+ years combined related experience (business administration, marketing, accounting, or customer support)
- Intermediate/advanced working knowledge and skills with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Basic accounting knowledge and math skills
- Ability to proactively share knowledge, information, and initiate collaboration to solve problems
- Flexible and adaptable to changing requirements
- Exercise judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action
- Establish and maintain effective customer relationships
- Impeccable attention to detail and quality of work
- Ability to establish priorities, work and think independently, and proceed with objectives with limited supervision
- Experience within large organizations and familiarity with supplier certification process
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Preferred qualifications include:
- Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar enterprise level CRM software
- Solid understanding of CRM principles
- Experience in the computer/software industry
- General knowledge of contracts, contract terms, and systems
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains)
