Responsibilities

We are seeking an innovative and customer-focused Solutions Architect to join our Customer Innovation team. In this role, you will operate at the intersection of technology and business strategy, partnering closely with customers to design and implement transformative solutions that drive measurable business outcomes. Acting as both a trusted advisor and technical expert, you will help customers unlock new possibilities and competitive advantages through innovative, AI-powered technology solutions—particularly within the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) industry.

Responsibilities include:

  • Partner with customers to understand strategic business objectives and technical challenges, translating them into innovative, AI-powered solutions that deliver measurable results.
  • Serve as the technical architect on customer innovation AI sprints, rapidly prototyping solutions and converting business challenges into scalable technical designs.
  • Design end-to-end solution architectures aligned to customer business goals, ensuring technical feasibility, scalability, and seamless integration across design and construction workflows.
  • Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and pilot programs to validate innovative approaches and emerging technologies.
  • Act as a technical thought leader and trusted advisor, introducing customers to relevant AI/ML capabilities and emerging technologies applicable to design and construction workflows.
  • Architect and define integration patterns across enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and construction technology ecosystems.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling business value propositions for executive and senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, data science, and customer success teams to ensure successful solution delivery during and after innovation sprints.
  • Document architectural patterns, best practices, and innovative use cases to enable scalability and knowledge sharing across the organization.
  • Mentor and guide customer technical teams on solution implementation, architecture best practices, and long-term scalability.
  • Stay current on construction industry trends, emerging technologies, and AI innovation to continuously bring fresh ideas to customer engagements.

Education / Qualifications

Required:

  • 15+ years of experience in solutions architecture, technical consulting, or similar customer-facing technical roles within the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) industry.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing complex, enterprise-scale solutions for design and construction workflows.
  • Deep understanding of EPC project lifecycle management, BIM/CAD integration, and construction technology ecosystems.
  • Strong technical expertise in cloud platforms, modern application architectures, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply innovative technologies to solve complex challenges across the construction project lifecycle, from design through commissioning.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Extensive experience leading discovery sessions, workshops, and solution design engagements with engineering firms, contractors, and owner-operators.
  • Track record of building trusted advisor relationships and driving successful digital transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with construction industry standards, agile methodologies, and iterative solution development practices.
  • Ability to balance innovation with practical implementation considerations in complex project environments.

Preferred:

  • Deep expertise with construction technology platforms such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Oracle Aconex, or similar solutions.
  • Experience with BIM 360, Revit, Navisworks, or other design and modeling tools.
  • Knowledge of IoT, digital twin solutions, and smart asset technologies for construction and facilities management.
  • Experience with reality capture, drone technology, computer vision, or AI-driven analytics in construction environments.
  • Understanding of project controls, scheduling (Primavera P6), and cost management systems.
  • Industry-specific experience in oil & gas, infrastructure, industrial, or commercial EPC projects.
  • Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Educational background in civil engineering, construction management, or a related technical discipline.
  • Contributions to construction technology communities through speaking, writing, or participation in industry associations.
