Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate product vision; develop and maintain roadmap; analyse market trends and customer feedback.
  • Own and prioritize product backlog; translate strategy into user stories and requirements; refine based on feedback.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams; act as voice of the customer; conduct workshops and demos.
  • Lead sprint planning and reviews; guide development team; monitor product performance using data insights.
  • Oversee development lifecycle; coordinate QA; ensure timely, high-quality releases.
  • Gather feedback; foster innovation; stay updated on emerging technologies (3D design, SaaS, AI/ML).
  • Responsible for communicating with Customers effectively and manage their expectations in the owned areas of ALI products suite.
  • In-charge for Project Performance / Monitoring & Reporting of Project status to the stakeholders.
  • Act as point of reference for all product related enquiries and work collaboratively with colleagues and Research to address any issues that may arise.
  • Assist / Update Executive management with detailed plans / Status for controlled advertising, promotion(s) and sales aids in accordance with the annual plan.
  • Additional responsibilities may include aid in pre-sales activities / Conduct workshops with customers and other stakeholders / Conference presentations & demonstrations

Education / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 6-9 years of experience in relevant industry.
  • Experience in capital projects working for Owner/Operators or EPC contractors in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Mining, or similar industries.
  • Plant design, engineering, or technical roles in EPC organizations.
  • Experience in Capital projects working for O/O or EPC or proven track record of managing / working as expert in any of the above processes in O/O facility. Track record of working in Plant Maintenance or operations. Or
  • Experience in Operations and Maintenance of systems like shutdown, turn around projects. Exposure to As-built retrofit engineering is an added advantage Knowledge in operations, As-Built design change workflows is an added advantage.

 

Additional Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
  • Deep understanding of EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) market structure, workflows, and business models.
  • Experience with backlog management tools (e.g., Jira, Aha!) and familiarity with the Smart 3D, E3D, Bentley Plant management systems etc… product ecosystem is a plus.
  • Power user proficiency with computer systems, operating systems, and peripheral tools.
