Responsibilities

We wish to hire a Cloud Site Reliability Engineer who can provide hands-on technical engineering and ownership of the growing cloud program, across multiple providers using public cloud platforms. You will work closely with our Product Centre groups, as well our Cloud Operations team, to help build secure and robust systems and applications responsible for serving all Cloud customers.  

The Cloud Site Reliability Engineer ensures the reliability, performance, and operational health of Azure cloud services. Combines software engineering and systems administration skills to design, build, and maintain reliable systems, while also responding to incidents and optimizing resource utilization.

• Design and implement systems to improve availability, performance, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain monitoring systems to detect and resolve issues proactively.
• Respond to incidents and outages, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks and conduct load testing and performance analysis.
• Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure the reliability of their applications.
• Implement security best practices and standards and Monitor for security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Contribute to incident response and security investigations.
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub).
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to Azure DevOps services and pipelines.
• Expertise in understanding Terraform and executing.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop cloud-based solutions.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure delivery and deployment processes.

Education / Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of experience in a cloud development role
• 10 to 15 Years of relavent experience.

Skills Required

• 5+ years of experience in a cloud development role
• Strong understanding of Azure cloud platform
• Experience with automation and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash, C#)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., Azure Monitor, Prometheus).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Willingness to learn new technologies and take on new challenges
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Expertise in understanding Terraform and executing.
