Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division is hiring a passionate, proactive and result driven Market Development Representative (MDR) to join our vibrant team. This role is your ticket to generating new business opportunities through innovative outbound prospecting efforts and gives you the foundations for further growth in our organization.  

In this position, you plan an important role to unlock the doors for our Sales Managers and you will be a key player in our revenue generating strategy. Your excellent communication skills and customer awareness, help you in making the appointments for our Sales Managers, enabling Sales Managers to sell our solutions and therefore this role is pivotal in creating new business opportunities.

 

Long Description

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Facilitate Intro Calls: Be the go-to facilitator for Intro Calls, ensuring our Business Development (BD) and Sales teams identify potential interest and next steps, in line with Sales Accepted Lead (SAL) criteria.
  • Drive Engagement: Conduct dynamic outbound phone calls to qualify leads and schedule impactful introductory meetings with our Account Executives (AEs).
  • Collaborate with AEs: Partner with Account Executives to accelerate pipeline creation and drive new logo acquisition within key target accounts.
  • Innovate Prospecting Strategies: Develop cutting-edge strategies for social prospecting, social selling, and email outreach, boosting meeting conversions.
  • Proactive Follow-Ups: Diligently follow up with prospects not yet “Sales Accepted” until progress is made or alternative decision-makers are found within the customers organization.
  • Master Product Messaging: Gain deep expertise in our product messaging and understand key buyer personas relevant to your industry segments.
  • Excel in Sales Tools: Become proficient in all sales tools, processes, and Salesforce best practices used by our Inside Sales team.
  • Account-Based Prospecting: Prospect within assigned accounts, adhering to the Ideal Client Profile (ICP) as part of our Account-Based Prospecting methodology.
  • Stay Updated: Keep abreast of evolving company goals, with any adjustments to account assignments or target profiles documented in our systems.

Education / Qualifications

  • Sales Experience: Ideally, 1+ year in a sales, business development, or lead generation role (preferred but not required).
  • Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills (native French, fluent in English) to effectively engage potential customers.
  • CRM Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce preferred) and other sales engagement tools.
  • Self-Motivated & Results-Driven: A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and consistently aims for results.
  • Industry Savvy: Ability to research and understand industry trends, competitor positioning, and aware customer challenges and knows how to link this to our solutions.
  • Organized & Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure thorough follow-ups and proper documentation.
