Responsibilities
● Define and drive the UX vision, strategy, and execution across the QMS product suite.
● Mentor a team of UX/UI designers and researchers using Design Operations principles.
● Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, QA, and Regulatory teams to ensure intuitive, measurable, compliant, and high-quality user experiences.
● Define and drive the UX vision and roadmap in support of product strategy and customer outcomes. Translate complex QMS workflows (e.g., CAPA, Document Control, Audit, Risk Management) into streamlined, user-friendly interfaces.
● Champion Generative and Evaluative User Research to deeply understand user needs, pain points, behaviors, and motivation while achieving business objectives and goals.
● Establish scalable design systems, patterns, and best practices across products and teams.
● Advocate for design thinking and a user-centered mindset throughout the organization.
● Present and communicate design concepts and rationale to executive stakeholders.
● Track and analyze user experience metrics and iterate on designs based on data insights.
● Ensure enterprise UX requirements (e.g., accessibility, security, complex workflows) are considered from the start. Ensure designs comply with industry standards (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 13485, FDA, HIPAA) where applicable.
● Understand emerging technology trends like AI/ML and its impact on User Experience, and new product offerings.
Education / Qualifications
o 10+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or director-level, architect-level role.
o Proven experience designing complex B2B SaaS platforms or enterprise applications.
o Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic design thinking and successful execution.
o Experience with user research methodologies, usability testing, and data-driven design.
o Deep understanding of modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, etc.) and design systems.
o Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
o Comfortable working in agile environments and cross-functional teams.
o Ability to balance business goals, technical constraints, and user needs.
o Understanding of AI/ML technologies, data science, and their application in real-world business scenarios.
o Experience designing software for regulated environments (e.g., FDA, ISO, GxP).
● Leadership & Strategic Thinking: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams, driving product vision, and solutions.
● Technical & Business Acumen: Ability to translate complex user requirements into customer-centric products with clear business value.
● Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills to influence and align executives, engineers, product managers.
● Agility & Innovation: Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments with a strong ability to pivot and adapt to market needs.
