Responsibilities
Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking a Marketing Content Manager to join our team to be based remotely. This role will have experience in enterprise B2B SaaS to lead our content strategy and execution. This role is also responsible for producing and managing high-quality, targeted content that supports the full buyer journey—from awareness to decision—and positions our brand as a trusted authority in the quality management space.
You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with product marketing, demand gen, and sales to develop content that drives pipeline, supports revenue goals, and builds long-term brand equity.
We’re a distributed team working across time zones, and we believe great content knows no zip code.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute a comprehensive B2B content strategy aligned with business and marketing objectives
· Own the editorial calendar and ensure consistent delivery of high-impact content across all channels (website, blog, email, webinars, case studies, organic social media etc.)
· Collaborate with subject matter experts to create thought leadership assets (e.g., whitepapers, ebooks, solution briefs)
· Collaborate with Brand/SEO team to optimize all content for SEO and ensure alignment with brand messaging and tone
· Manage the end-to-end content development processes (production timelines, briefs, scripts, talking points, abstracts, etc.)
· Partner with demand generation to support lead acquisition and nurture programs Manage freelance writers, content agencies, and internal contributors
· Use analytics tools (e.g., GA4, HubSpot, Salesforce) to track content performance and inform strategy
· Maintain brand voice and editorial style guide to ensure content consistency across global campaigns
· Manage one email and promotional copy writer
Education / Qualifications
· 8+ years of content marketing or editorial experience in a B2B SaaS environment
· Proven ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, compelling narratives
· Deep understanding of the B2B buyer journey and content’s role in the sales funnel
· Strong project management skills with experience juggling multiple priorities and stakeholders
· Passionate about the customer with a strong interest in understanding and driving user behavior.
· Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
· Strong communications skills, both written and oral; ability to communicate analytical conclusions to leadership team effectively.
· Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
· Familiarity with content management systems (WordPress, Contentful), marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Pardot), and SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs)
· Experience using Salesforce and Wrike preferred
· Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a sharp eye for detail
· Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience supporting enterprise-level sales teams and long sales cycles
· Expertise in the role of content and content marketing to drive sales qualified leads
· Knowledge of ABM strategies and personalization tactics
· Portfolio of relevant work demonstrating strategic thinking and content craftsmanship
