Responsibilities
We are seeking a personable and customer-focused IT Support Intern to deliver high-quality technical support to end users. This role requires a proactive problem-solver with a willingness to learn processes and systems that support a diverse IT environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, technical adaptation, and a commitment to service excellence.
- Provide Tier 1 support for end user issues, both onsite and via remote access tools.
- Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests logged in the IT Ticketing System in a timely and courteous manner.
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate technical teams while maintaining ownership and communication with the end user.
- Maintain accurate case documentation and provide regular status updates to users and management.
- Work with manager regarding assigned projects or initiatives.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and IT support documentation as applicable.
- Participate in team building efforts and contribute to knowledge base in collaboration with team members and supervisor.
Education / Qualifications
- Current enrollment in an accredited college, university, or approved educational institution.
- Field of study in enrollment must be Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of computer systems, operating systems, software applications, and networking fundamentals are preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Analytical thinking and effective problem-solving capabilities.
