Responsibilities

Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking a Procurement Contract Manager to join our team in Madison, AL. In this role, you'll be responsible for obtaining and reviewing third-party vendor quotes as well as negotiating, issuing, and managing third-party vendor agreements. Creates, issues, and executes third-party vendor agreements based on corporate policies and procedures.

Fosters collaboration across multiple departments (compliance, finance, legal, marketing, HR, sales, business systems, and export) for pre and post award contract administration.  Promotes a positive and mutually beneficial relationship with third-party vendors. Negotiates pricing and commercial terms to reduce corporate costs.  Reviews purchase requisitions for accuracy and compliance.  Assists with company reporting and audits as needed.  Reviews contracts and statements of work for compliance with purchase requisitions and negotiates liability provisions such as indemnifications/limitation of liability provisions for software purchases and renewals, services contracts, and event agreements.  Performs other reasonable and related duties. Education / Qualifications

•    Minimum of three years’ experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements
•    Juris Doctorate Degree preferred
•    Ability to independently represent a client in a commercial/legal terms negotiation with opposing counsel is required
•    Experience in contract review, work in a corporate legal department, or a law firm is preferred
•    Experience reviewing and negotiating legal/commercial terms and conditions, including but not limited to software licenses is preferred
•    Ability to multi-task in a highly dynamic environment to achieve client goals and objectives
•    Thrives in a team environment and is willing to mentor staff members
•    Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
•    Ability to work independently with limited supervision and adapt to rapidly changing requirements
•    Highly motivated and detail-oriented 
•    Excellent people skills to include collaboration in a multi-disciplinary, diverse and dynamic team environment
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) required
