Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and manage projects related to Physical Security Systems, Video Management Systems (VMS), and Integrated Command Control Center (ICCC) Applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering complex, large-scale security technology solutions, ensuring seamless integration and effective operation of these systems for our clients.
As a key member of our team, you will work closely with internal teams, vendors, stakeholders, and clients to oversee the design, development, implementation, and optimization of security systems. Your expertise in both technical project management and physical security technologies will be critical to driving successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution:
- Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initial concept through to delivery and post-implementation support.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Coordinate all project activities and resources to meet project milestones, deadlines, and client expectations.
Technical Leadership & Solution Design:
- Provide technical expertise in the design, integration, and deployment of physical security systems, video surveillance, and integrated control center solutions.
- Work with solution architects and engineers to define system architecture and ensure that all technical requirements are met.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address any technical challenges that may arise during project implementation.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, operations, IT, security experts) and external vendors to ensure the successful delivery of security systems and software solutions.
- Act as the main point of contact between clients and project teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment of expectations.
System Integration & Implementation:
- Oversee the integration of various physical security components such as video surveillance (CCTV), access control systems, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and integrated command center software.
- Ensure systems are effectively integrated into the client's existing infrastructure and meet operational needs.
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and system validation to ensure all security systems function correctly.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Ensure all technical and regulatory requirements are met in accordance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, NIST, GDPR).
- Maintain high levels of quality control throughout the project lifecycle and address any performance issues promptly.
- Create and manage detailed documentation of system designs, configuration settings, and operational procedures for ongoing maintenance and support.
Risk & Issue Management:
- Identify, assess, and address potential risks that could impact project delivery.
- Proactively resolve project-related issues and obstacles, and implement corrective actions where necessary to keep the project on track.
Education / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certifications are highly desirable.
- Technical certifications in physical security systems (e.g., from manufacturers like Genetec, Milestone, or Avigilon) will be an advantage
- Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in technical project management, particularly in the domain of physical security, video management systems, or integrated command control centers.
- Hands-on experience with security technologies (CCTV, access control, alarms, sensors, VMS platforms, etc.) and their integration into unified systems.
- Experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary teams across multiple locations.
- Deep understanding of video surveillance systems (CCTV, VMS), access control systems, physical security infrastructure, and integrated command control solutions.
- Knowledge of networking, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity best practices as they relate to security systems.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana) and general office software (e.g., MS Office Suite).
- Familiarity with industry standards and compliance regulations in physical security and video management systems.

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing challenges.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working in sectors such as critical infrastructure, government, commercial, or corporate security.
- Experience with cloud-based VMS platforms and integration with IoT devices and analytics.
- Knowledge of physical security standards and frameworks (e.g., NFPA, UL, ISO 9001).
Work Environment:
- The position may require occasional travel to project sites for installations, site assessments, or customer meetings.
- Occasional after-hours work may be needed to accommodate project deadlines or client schedules.
