About Role
We’re looking for an Associate SRE who’s passionate about building reliable systems and automating operations. In this role, you’ll work on AWS-hosted infrastructure, improve observability, and collaborate with engineering teams to keep services resilient and performant. This is a hands-on position where you’ll learn, grow, and make a real impact.
Responsibilities
Ensure Reliability: Keep our AWS-hosted services stable, highly available, and performant— meeting SLAs and delivering consistent uptime. •
Own Infrastructure Lifecycle: Deploy, configure, upgrade, monitor, and retire compute, networking, and storage resources using Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform).
• Automate Everything: Reduce manual work by building scripts and automation with Python, Shell, and Ansible to streamline operations.
• Build Observability: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions that provide deep visibility into system health and application performance.
• Leverage AIOps: Utilize AI-driven operational insights to predict issues, optimize performance, and accelerate incident resolution.
• Respond Fast: Act quickly during incidents—contain impact, restore services, and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Work with Customers: Handle escalated support issues with professionalism and technical expertise.
• Protect Data: Maintain reliable backup and recovery solutions for customer environments. Improve Continuously: Create and refine runbooks, documentation, and automation to make the team faster and more efficient.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with engineering, support, and customer teams to solve problems and implement best practices.
• Hands-On Engineering: Perform installations, scale servers, migrate environments, and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
• Shift Coverage: Work within a structured shift schedule to deliver reliable infrastructure support and respond to alerts during assigned hours. Our team provides 24x7, year-round coverage, and these shifts are designed to maintain world-class service levels and meet customer expectations
