Responsibilities
What to expect
- Create comprehensive documentation suites during feature development
- Document technical implementations and capabilities
- Participate in documentation reviews ensuring quality, security, and adherence to best practices
- Review documentation to guarantee that Good Documentation Practices are followed
- Review and approve system documentation such as installation guides and requirements specifications
- Plan, execute, and deliver complex writing projects with the help of other TW/BAs
Required Skills & Principles
- Proficiency in Adobe RoboHelp or similar help authoring tools
- Extensive knowledge of MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel
- Extensive knowledge of image editing, video recording, and HTML editing tools
Education Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
- Continuous-learning mindset with portfolio of personal or open-source projects
Required Skills
Preferred/Desirable Qualifications
Experience & Background
- 5+ years of experience creating and editing technical documentation
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
Advanced Technologies & Modern Tools
- AI-Assisted Development: Experience with GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar AI assistants
Operational & Collaboration Skills
- Documentation: Writing clear technical documentation and runbooks
- Mentorship: Helping junior writers and analysts grow their skills
- Collaboration: Working effectively with product managers, designers, and QA engineers
