Responsibilities
The candidate in this role will operate with a solution selling and outcome focused ‘hunting’ mindset to achieve targets within defined timeframes.
The role works independently and within a wider team of sales, presales, marketing, and technical teams, to help drive results within the region.
This role is suitable for an individual who is genuinely proactive, passionate about sales, products and customer satisfaction, and flexible to work beyond the set requirements of the role to meet Business and customer expectations.
This role sits in the sales team and has regional responsibility for Security sales across APAC
OBJECTIVES / MAIN ACTIVITIES
The main objective is driving sales within the APAC region with a focus on the Security segment in the SIG division, proactively liaising with customers and prospects as required to find new opportunities and bring those opportunities to successful closure.
This may include:
• Achieve revenue targets through procurement of new and existing customers;
• Define a sales strategy per country in your territory for both inbound and outbound lead generation;
• Act as a first point of contact for customers, presenting with great customer service and professionalism;
• Active marketing outreach for new markets, leveraging all resources available;
• Gain an understanding of customers' diverse and specific business needs and apply product knowledge to meet them; with support from the presales team;
• Prepare and deliver presentations; • Prepare quotations for software and services offerings as required;
• Travel in the ANZ and greater APAC region as required for prospect meetings and business travel;
• Maintain a consistent approach to engaging with customers with upmost professionalism and customer service, representing the SIG division in all engagements;
• Work collaboratively with key stakeholders in other business areas to identify process improvements;
• Provide customer engagement on service and products and share feedback with the Hexagon team;
• Forecast revenue and future requirements for sales opportunities in the region;
• Provide accurate reporting to management and other key sales and marketing stakeholders within the Hexagon business; utilise systems and tools to ensure data is captured and maintained accurately.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Tertiary level qualification in Business or other relevant discipline;
• Strong experience as a successful B2B Salesperson in the APAC region;
Successful track record in a multi-faceted sales role within a complex matrix reporting environment; • Experience working within the Security and Video industry
