Responsibilities

Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking to hire a Senior Account Manager to join our Field Sales organisation. Based in Singapore, you will join a team focused on the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) market segment. With a wide range of products and services to meet customer needs and our position as a global leader in sensor, software and autonomous solutions, this position is a unique opportunity to continue and expand your professional sales/solutions career. 

 

  • Developing ALI’s footprint in the EPC market by generating sales leads for SmartPlant solutions and services, along with other products as required.
  • Identifying and gaining new business through a sustained program of prospect targeting and following up referrals/leads.
  • Understanding the customer's objectives, buying criteria and decision making processes and forming long term business partnerships in order to leverage revenue from the relationship and promote ALI as a quality supplier with the aim of achieving "preferred" supplier status.
  • Working closely with new clients to determine their future needs and proposing suitable products, services and upgrades in order to maintain and grow revenue for ALI.
  • Conducting product demonstrations and coordinating the preparation of Sales proposals, tenders/bids, contracts and Account Management plans.
  • Coordinating, conducting and participating in Sales promotions, campaigns, events and displays.
  • Developing new products, services or solutions by combining several existing products/services and generating leads to establish a corresponding market sector in order to gain new business for ALI.
  • Keeping abreast of competitor's Sales strategies.
  • Negotiating contracts in accordance with ALI’s policies.
  • Liaising with Technical Support staff regarding technical issues to ensure client retention and continued business.

Education / Qualifications


•    Aggressive sales mind and creativity and a flair for innovation.
•    Plant Engineering Industry knowledge
•    Experience at Plant Engineering Industry or Heavy Industry is preferred 
•    Native level of verbal and written English
•    Proven Sales ability including outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability and excellent communication skills.
•    Ability to deal with clients at all levels and translate client needs into a complete solution.
•    Management, business, accounting and reporting skills.
•    Over 3 years of software sales or consulting experience for an enterprise software organisation, preferably with relevant tertiary qualifications.
