Responsibilities
• Working as a part of global team and working across time zones based on project needs
• Translate use cases and user scenarios into test cases and test scenarios
• Design test strategy for a software
• Write UI Automation tests for web and/or desktop application
• Develop test plans and execute them
• Write unit and integration tests using TDD approach
• Collaborate closely with developers and product management throughout development cycle
Education / Qualifications
• B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent.
• Experience: 4-10 years (1 position junior and 1 position senior)
• Must: Strong and clear English communication both verbal and written
• Strong in C# .NET Core concepts
• Have a tester's mindset and instincts but with development knowledge (SDET)
• Must: Ability to translate Use Cases and Scenarios into Tests cases and scenarios
• QA UI Automation tools experience - Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, FlaUI, any desktop UI automation tool
• Should be open and flexible to work as a developer and tester depending on project needs
• The candidate should have knowledge of designing the test strategy for a new project.
• Should know the Testing quadrants and Testing pyramid and should be open and able to ideate and execute all levels/quadrants of them according to the test strategy
• Should have working knowledge on JIRA and XRay.
• Proficient in writing unit and integration tests using .NET with frameworks like XUnit, MSTests or equivalent
• Proficient with mocking frameworks like moq
• Preferable: Web development exposure with JS frameworks like React / Angular with TypeScript
• Preferable: Experience in writing tests for React / Angular using Jest / Jasmine / Karma etc.
• Preferable: Working knowledge of docker / containers
