Responsibilities

Automation Strategy & Leadership:

  • Define and implement the test automation strategy, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Lead the automation team in creating and maintaining Playwright-based automated test scripts.
  • Mentor and guide junior automation engineers in developing their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing goals and priorities.

Test Script Development & Maintenance:

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web applications using Playwright.
  • Ensure that automated test scripts are maintainable, scalable, and reusable.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing test automation frameworks.
  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous testing.

Test Planning & Execution:

  • Collaborate with QA and development teams to identify test requirements and create test plans.
  • Execute automated test scripts, analyse results, and report defects.
  • Identify areas for test improvement and implement solutions to enhance test coverage and efficiency.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration of testing activities into the development process.
  • Communicate test progress, issues, and results to stakeholders effectively.
  • Facilitate and participate in regular meetings with the team to review progress and address challenges.

Tool and Technology Evaluation:

  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in test automation tools and technologies.
  • Evaluate new tools and technologies that could enhance the automation testing process.

Education / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • We are looking for an experienced and talented Test Automation Lead with 8-10 years of expertise to join our dynamic team.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in test automation, a commitment to quality, and the leadership skills to enhance and drive improvements in our testing processes and frameworks.
